SDORC to raffle car and trailer!

   SDORC has surprising news to share. We have been honored with the donation of our second car and trailer to raffle off! This raffle is well on its way with sponsors proudly wanting to display their products. They all share the same goal of keeping our public land open to all off-roaders.

   The car builder supplying the completely tabbed chassis, suspension and assembly labor is AG Sand Cars, Inc. of El Cajon, owned by Dustin Dumas. They are also supplying all of the custom aluminum work for side panels, hood, roof, engine wing, floor pan, center console and fuel tank.

   This is AG's "Next Generation" long travel dual sport, four-seater model (two front seats and a bench seat in the back, donated from PRP). It has Fox bypass shocks w/coilover and internal bypass, 22 inches of travel and 934 mid board hubs. Turn Key Engine Supply donated the Chevrolet "LS1" engine and Mendeola Transaxles donated their "S4" Sequential. The graphics and vinyl wrap has been created and donated by APE Wrap. Sponsors are still signing up and the list is still expanding.

   T2K Trailers, Inc. of El Cajon has again donated the assembly labor for a custom tandem axle, 8 1/2ft x 18ft flat bed trailer. This is a different model from the last trailer they donated to us. T2K Trailers plans to showcase their new product "Superliner" on this trailer. Also included: 5ft ramp gate, LED lights, metal tool box, electric brakes, emergency breakaway kit and much more!

The car and trailer will be given away May 20, 2007 at the Extreme Motorsports Expo at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, CA. Winner need not be present, but must be at least 18 years old. Tickets are $20 each or six for $100. For raffle rules and information e-mail raffle@sdorc.org.

Money collected from ticket sales will help SDORC make its monthly payments to our attorney and lobbyists as well as pay other bills that go along with the fight to keep public land open for public use. SDORC is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization. Everyone's help is needed with this ongoing fight. We are all making a difference when we unite and support our sport!
